Advances in Abrasive Technology V is a compilation of papers from the 5th International Symposium on Advances in Abrasive Technology, a meeting in November 2002 jointly sponsored by the Japan Society of Abrasive Technology and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. With some exceptions, the compilation focuses on technologies for advanced materials and ultra precision machining. Short notes on select papers follow.
